Description
Image::EPEG for Perl embeds an unsupported version of the Epeg library, specifically Epeg 0.9.0, which has not been updated since 2004. Epeg is a fast JPEG thumbnail library that was previously part of the Enlightenment Project.

At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
