VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description An issue exists in the SELinux component where the per-task avdcache incorrectly saves and reuses the audited vector computed by the avc audit required() function. Instead of recomputing the vector based on the currently requested permissions and distinguishing between denied and allowed cases, the system reuses the cached value. This leads to a failure in auditing certain permission checks, such as directory write checks that occur after a previously cached directory search check.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
