Description A flaw exists in the libceph component of the Linux kernel related to request pausing and watch re-establishment. Specifically, the calc target() function does not consistently set the t->paused flag, leading to issues with watches not being re-established after paused transitions, particularly for linger requests. This can cause rbd dev->watch mutex to remain held indefinitely, preventing image unmapping and potentially causing operations like 'rbd unmap' to hang. The issue arises because the request is never marked as paused, preventing it from being added to the need resend linger list and subsequently kicked when requests are unpaused.
