Description
An issue exists in the
mtk-snfi SPI driver where the on-host NAND ECC engine is registered during the mtk snand probe() function, but the corresponding teardown process is missing from both the probe unwind and the remove() callback. This results in the ECC engine remaining registered even after a probe failure or device removal.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
