Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description An issue exists in the netfilter nf tables component where destination corruption occurs during same register operations. For lshift and rshift operations, the system performs shifts in a loop over 32-bit words. When the source and destination point to the same memory location, the carry for the next iteration is incorrectly calculated using the modified destination value instead of the original source value.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
