Description
A DMA mapping leak occurs in the
nvme-pci module during data setup errors. The leak happens during iteration if the tracking descriptor for either PRP (Physical Region Page) or SGL (Scatter Gather List) fails to allocate. Additionally, mappings leak when the driver detects an invalid bio vec during PRP mapping. PRP is a method used by NVMe to describe memory pages, and SGL is a list used to describe data buffers in non-contiguous memory.Recommendations
