Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description An issue exists in the ASoC codecs fs210x component where a buffer overflow can occur within the fs210x effect scene info() function. The flaw is caused by the incorrect use of the strscpy() function, where the length of the source string is used as the size limit instead of the destination buffer size. This allows a buffer overflow to happen if the length of the source string is greater than or equal to the size of the destination buffer.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
