VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:C/I:C/A:C
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description An issue exists in the net: tls component where the system could create a chain-after-chain scenario in plain text SG (Scatter-Gather). This occurs when the end variable equals 0 while start does not, causing the code to create a chain link to the content type immediately following the wrap link. Because the scatterlist API sg next iterator does not recursively resolve consecutive chain links, this results in illegal input to the crypto subsystem.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
