Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
A use-after-free issue exists in the
arm ffa firmware component. The notification handlers retrieve a notifier callback while holding the notify lock, but release the lock before dereferencing the entry. This creates a race condition where a concurrent unregister operation can delete and free the entry, causing the handler to access stale memory.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
