Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
A latent bug exists in the IOMMU (Input-Output Memory Management Unit) subsystem when
iommu debug is enabled. The issue occurs during the map error flow where iommu unmap() is called, subsequently triggering iommu debug unmap begin() and iommu debug unmap end(). Because this occurs within an error path, the original iommu debug map() was never established, leading to unbalanced tracking and malfunctions in the debugging trace.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
