Description An issue exists in the netfs invalidate folio() function where partial invalidation of a streaming-write folio is handled incorrectly. When a partial invalidation region overlaps the front of a dirty write cached in a streaming write page, the function fails to properly update the dirty region. Specifically, it incorrectly sets the start of the region to the start of the invalidation region instead of the end, leading to an inaccurate tracking of the dirty region within the netfs folio structure.
