Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
An issue exists in the
idpf ptp init() function where the read dev clk lock spinlock is initialized after the ptp schedule worker() function has been called. This sequence allows the PTP auxiliary worker to execute and call idpf ptp read src clk reg direct(), which attempts to acquire the read dev clk lock spinlock before it has been properly initialized. This leads to a lockdep non-static key warning.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
