Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description An issue exists in the spi: ep93xx driver where the system may dereference an error pointer. This occurs when the driver falls back to PIO (Programmed Input/Output) mode following a DMA (Direct Memory Access) setup failure during the probe process. If DMA channel pointers are not cleared upon setup failure, they may be dereferenced during subsequent probe errors or during driver unbind operations.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
