Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Oracle Java SE version 8u491
Description
A flaw in the JavaFX component allows an unauthenticated attacker with network access via multiple protocols to compromise the system. This issue requires human interaction and affects Java deployments that run untrusted code, such as sandboxed Java Web Start applications or sandboxed Java applets, which rely on the Java sandbox for security. Successful exploitation can lead to unauthorized update, insert, or delete access to accessible data. This does not affect server deployments that only run trusted code.
