Description An issue exists in the Generic Unix Connector component of the Oracle Identity Manager Connector. An unauthenticated attacker with access to the physical communication segment attached to the hardware where the software executes can compromise the system. Successful exploitation may lead to unauthorized creation, deletion, or modification of critical data and the ability to cause a hang or repeatable crash, resulting in a complete Denial of Service (DOS), which is a condition where the service becomes unavailable to its intended users. While the flaw is located within the Oracle Identity Manager Connector, attacks may significantly impact additional products.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
