Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
MongoDB (affected versions not specified)
Description
An unauthenticated remote client can cause excessive CPU consumption on a server by sending a specific combination of parameters to the
hello command in exhaust mode. The server's handling of this request creates a response loop that bypasses normal throttling, which allows a small number of connections to degrade server availability.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
