Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description An issue exists in the drm/msm/dsi component where the IO address space on DSI 6G platforms is internally adjusted by io offset. When this adjusted address is used for memory dumping, the size used for the operation is not adjusted to account for the io offset, which can lead to potential access to an unmapped memory region. This occurs within the msm disp snapshot add block(), msm dsi host snapshot(), msm dsi snapshot(), msm disp snapshot capture state(), msm disp snapshot state sync(), and msm disp snapshot work() functions.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
