Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
An issue exists in the
pcrypt component of the crypto subsystem. The system installs the pcrypt aead done() callback on a child AEAD request before attempting submission via padata. When padata do parallel() returns -EBUSY, the system falls back to calling the child AEAD directly. If the padata completion callback is not restored during this fallback, an asynchronous completion may trigger pcrypt aead done() despite the request never being enrolled in padata.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
