Description A hard lockup occurs in the digi acceleport USB serial driver when submitting an Out-of-Band (OOB) write USB Request Block (URB) fails persistently, such as during a device disconnection. This failure causes the driver to enter an infinite loop with interrupts disabled, leading to a system hang. This condition can be triggered when functions like open(), set termios(), or close() race with a physical disconnect of the device.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
