Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
An issue exists in the Bluetooth component where the
btmtksdio txrx work() function contains an incorrect implementation of the time is before jiffies() check. This logic error causes the loop to fail to terminate after the intended 5*HZ timeout period. Instead, once the timeout occurs, the condition becomes permanently true, leading to an infinite loop that prevents the release of the SDIO host and can cause the btmtksdio flush() task to hang.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
Exploit
Infinite Loop
