Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A memory leak occurs in the xhci sideband component. The function xhci ring to sgtable() allocates a temporary pages array to construct an sg table using sg alloc table from pages(). While error paths correctly free this array, the success path returns the sg table without freeing the temporary array. This results in a leak every time a sideband client requests an endpoint or event ring buffer.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
