Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A runtime Power Management (PM) leak occurs in the gp2ap002 read raw() function. The function invokes pm runtime get sync() to manage power before reading the lux value; however, if the gp2ap002 get lux() function fails, the system returns immediately. This bypasses the pm runtime put autosuspend() call, resulting in a permanent leak of a runtime PM reference and preventing the device from entering its autosuspend state.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
