Description A power management (PM) reference leak exists in the ads1119 triggered buffer preenable() function. The function uses pm runtime resume and get() to resume the device before starting a conversion. If the i2c smbus write byte() function fails, the error is returned immediately without decrementing the runtime PM usage counter. Because the postdisable callback is not triggered when preenable fails, the reference is leaked, which may cause the device to remain active indefinitely.
