Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description An issue exists in the drm/amdgpu/vce1 component where the VCPU BO (Buffer Object) size did not account for the offset of the actual firmware. This discrepancy could lead to out-of-bounds access. The fix involves subtracting the offset from the firmware size, ensuring stack and data offsets are aligned to the 32K TLB (Translation Lookaside Buffer) size, and verifying that the firmware microcode fits within the reserved space.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
