Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions SMS Alert – SMS & OTP for WooCommerce, Order Notifications & Abandoned Cart Recovery versions prior to 3.9.8
Description This issue is a generic SQL Injection, which occurs when an application fails to properly sanitize user input, allowing an attacker to interfere with the queries that an application makes to its database. Authenticated attackers with administrator-level access and above can append additional SQL queries to existing ones to extract sensitive information from the database. This is caused by insufficient escaping of the user-supplied id parameter and a lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query.
Recommendations Update the plugin to a version newer than 3.9.7. As a temporary mitigation, restrict access to the administrative functions that utilize the id parameter.

Fix

SQL injection
