Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Sony XAV-9500ES (affected versions not specified)
Description
A heap-based buffer overflow exists in the handling of Bluetooth L2CAP packets. The issue occurs because the system fails to properly validate the length of user-supplied data before copying it to a heap-based buffer. A network-adjacent attacker who successfully pairs a malicious Bluetooth device with the target system can exploit this flaw to execute arbitrary code in the context of the device.
