Description A heap-based buffer overflow exists in the handling of Bluetooth L2CAP packets. The issue occurs because the system fails to properly validate the length of user-supplied data before copying it to a heap-based buffer. A network-adjacent attacker who successfully pairs a malicious Bluetooth device with the target system can exploit this flaw to execute arbitrary code in the context of the device.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
