Description Side-channel information leakage in WebCodecs allows a remote attacker to obtain potentially sensitive information from process memory by using a crafted HTML page. Side-channel attacks are methods used to extract data from a system by observing physical or logical characteristics of the hardware or software implementation, such as timing or power consumption, rather than exploiting a direct flaw in the code.

Recommendations Update Google Chrome to version 151.0.7922.72 or later.
