Description A stack-based buffer overflow occurs in the File Explorer when user-controlled input is not properly validated before being decoded and copied into a fixed-size stack buffer. An authenticated attacker can exploit this to cause a denial of service of the affected CGI process. A CGI process is a program that runs on a web server to generate dynamic content.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
