Description A Denial-of-Service issue exists in the Modbus server functionality. An unauthenticated attacker can trigger a reboot of the charging controller by sending specific requests via Modbus TCP. This is possible when the port used by the CharxModbusServer is open and the Modbus functionality is enabled.

Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability. Restrict access to the port used by the CharxModbusServer to minimize the risk of exploitation.
