VectorAV:N/AC:H/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Kirki WordPress plugin versions prior to 6.0.13
Description An issue exists where the software fails to restrict which classes can be instantiated during the deserialization of data stored by unauthenticated users. This leads to PHP Object Injection, which is triggered when an administrator reviews the stored data. If a suitable gadget chain—a sequence of existing code fragments that can be executed—is present on the site, this could allow for remote code execution.
Recommendations Update Kirki WordPress plugin to version 6.0.13 or later.
