Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions osCommerce version 4.14.63493
Description A security flaw exists in the Email Template Configuration component. A remote attacker can perform a SQL injection by manipulating the email templates key argument within the EmailController() function located in the app/lib/backend/controllers/EmailController.php file. SQL injection is a technique where malicious SQL statements are inserted into entry fields for execution, potentially allowing unauthorized access to the database.
Recommendations As a temporary workaround, restrict access to the EmailController() function in the app/lib/backend/controllers/EmailController.php file to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
