Description A cryptographic weakness exists in the device adoption process. During this process, authentication credentials for site management are transmitted using a weak hashing algorithm, which fails to provide adequate protection. An attacker capable of intercepting adoption-related authentication traffic could recover valid credentials to gain unauthorized access to managed devices or controller-managed environments.
