Description A stack-based buffer overflow exists, allowing an unauthenticated remote attacker to send a specially crafted packet to crash the endpoint or potentially execute arbitrary code. A stack-based buffer overflow occurs when a program writes more data to a buffer located on the stack than the buffer is allocated to hold, potentially overwriting adjacent memory.

Recommendations Update Keysight IxChariot Endpoint to version 9.5.102 or later.
