OpenSIPS versions prior to 3.6.6
OpenSIPS versions prior to 4.0.0-rc1
Description
A denial of service issue exists in the SDP bandwidth-line parsing logic. An unauthenticated remote attacker can send a SIP request with
Content-Type: application/sdp containing a malformed session-level SDP bandwidth line that lacks the required colon delimiter. This action corrupts the parsed SDP bandwidth metadata. When a route or module clones this corrupted state—specifically during dialog and QoS (Quality of Service, a mechanism to manage network traffic priority) processing—the worker process crashes.Recommendations
