Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
The Intel IOMMU driver allows Shared Virtual Addressing (SVA) on devices that do not support PCI Page Request Interface (PRI). While the SVA bind path was updated to skip Input/Output Page Fault (IOPF) enablement when PRI is missing, the unbind path was not updated. This causes the unbind path to attempt to disable IOPF for a device where it was never enabled, triggering a WARNING in the
intel iommu disable iopf() function.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
