Description
A heap buffer overflow exists in the Base component. This occurs when an attacker convinces a user to install a malicious extension, allowing the exploitation of heap corruption through a crafted Chrome Extension. A heap buffer overflow is a memory corruption issue that happens when a program writes more data to a heap-allocated buffer than it can hold.
Recommendations
Update Google Chrome to version 151.0.7922.109 or later.
