Description Software run by a non-privileged user can perform improper GPU system calls to trigger out-of-bounds (OOB) memory access and a kernel null pointer dereference within an error path. Specifically, this occurs in the DmaTransfer() function when the pui64Address variable is a pointer to device memory. The null pointer dereference happens in a function running in a kernel thread of execution, which can lead to kernel exceptions, platform instability, and denial of service.
