Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A memory leak occurs in the vme user staging driver within the tsi148 bridge. The tsi148 probe() function allocates a location monitor resource and adds it to the lm resources list of the tsi148 bridge structure. While the error path in the probe function correctly handles this list, the tsi148 remove() function fails to free the lm resources list, only clearing the dma, slave, and master resource lists. This results in a resource leak whenever the device is unbound or the module is unloaded.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
