Description An issue exists in the wacom parse and register() function where HID hardware is started before the registration of inputs and the initialization of pad LEDs or remotes. If these subsequent steps fail, the error paths release Wacom resources without stopping the HID hardware. This can be resolved by routing failures occurring after hid hw start() through hid hw stop() before the driver resources are released.

Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
