Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
An issue exists in the
drm/amdgpu component where the system fails to reject the mapping of a reserved doorbell to a new queue. When creating a user-queue, the user space provides a doorbell BO handle and an offset. The use of the xa store irq() function allows a subsequent queue created with the same BO and offset parameters to overwrite an existing queue and its doorbell mapping. This can lead to the misrouting of fence IRQ processing to an incorrect queue or cause the cleanup process of one queue to erroneously erase the mapping of another queue.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
