Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
A TOCTOU (Time-of-Check to Time-of-Use) issue exists in the
drm/amdgpu/vcn4 component. This occurs when the system rereads the IB parameter length instead of reusing the value returned by the vcn v4 0 enc find ib param() function. A TOCTOU issue is a race condition where a system checks a condition (such as a length value) and then uses that value, but the value is changed by another process between the check and the use.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
