Description A resource leak occurs in the hip04 driver when the build skb() function fails within the hip04 rx poll() function. In this scenario, the driver proceeds to the refill path without releasing the current RX buffer and its DMA mapping. Consequently, the installation of a replacement buffer overwrites the slot references, leading to a leak of both the buffer and the DMA mapping. Additionally, a failure in the dma map single() function can lead to a leak of a newly allocated RX fragment.

Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
