Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
An issue exists in the LoongArch architecture where the
jump label init() function is called after parse early param(). When CONFIG MEM ALLOC PROFILING=y and CONFIG MEM ALLOC PROFILING ENABLED BY DEFAULT=y are enabled, using the boot parameter sysctl.vm.mem profiling=0 to disable memory profiling causes the kernel to fail during the boot process. This occurs because early parameter handlers may modify static keys using static branch enable() or static branch disable(), requiring jump label init() to be executed first.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
