Description
A memory leak occurs in the
detect link and local sink function within the drm/amd/display component. The prev sink reference is retained using the dc sink retain() function at the start of the process. However, when a DP alt mode timeout occurs within the SIGNAL TYPE DISPLAY PORT path, the function returns false without calling dc sink release(prev sink), leading to a reference leak.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
