Description
An issue exists in the
nouveau uvmm vm bind ucopy() and nouveau exec ucopy() functions where error cleanup labels are placed in allocation order instead of reverse allocation order. When a u memcpya() failure occurs for in sync.s, the process may trigger a kernel oops because kvfree() dereferences an ERR PTR that was not caught by ZERO OR NULL PTR(). Additionally, a failure for out sync.s can cause a memory leak by skipping the release of the first allocation.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
