Description A buffer overflow exists in the cleaner shader sysfs path. The system allocates a 16-dword (64 byte) Indirect Buffer (IB) but incorrectly fills it using align mask + 1 dwords. On GFX rings, where align mask is 0xff, the loop writes 256 dwords into the 64-byte buffer, leading to a kernel page fault. The issue occurs during the scheduling of the job, while the cleaner shader is emitted via the emit cleaner shader() function.

Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
