Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
An issue exists in the
xe vm create() function where a failure in drm gpuvm resv object alloc() leads to resource leaks. For non-fault-mode VMs, the xe svm init() function succeeds, but xe svm fini() is not called, resulting in a leak of resources allocated by drm gpusvm init(). For fault-mode VMs, the system fails to call xe svm close(), causing a leak of the pagemap owner acquired via drm pagemap acquire owner() and pagemaps acquired via xe svm get pagemaps().Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
