Description An infinite loop exists in the tipc nl compat dumpit() function. This occurs because the cmd->dumpit callback can return a negative error number, which prevents the while(len) condition from terminating. Consequently, the genl mutex is not released, causing other tasks waiting for the mutex to enter a D state (uninterruptible sleep), leading to system starvation.
