Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description An issue exists in the Bluetooth management component where RCU-protected pointers are dereferenced outside of critical sections. This behavior is invalid and can lead to a Use-After-Free (UAF) condition, which occurs when a program continues to use a pointer after the memory it points to has been freed. The problem occurs during the execution of unpair device() and disconnect sync() functions when performing hci conn lookups and calling hci abort conn().
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
