Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description An issue exists in the sata dwc 460ex driver where the sata dwc enable interrupts() function is called before platform get irq() and ata host activate(). This sequence leaves the SATA controller's interrupt mask enabled without a registered handler. If the controller asserts an interrupt during probe or if subsequent steps such as PHY initialization or IRQ requests fail, the IRQ line may fire without a handler, resulting in a spurious interrupt storm.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
